Flute Lessons in Tucson: Drawing upon over 15 years of professional performance and teaching experience, flute lessons are custom-tailored for each student. Weekly lessons include music fundamentals such as scales, progressive technical studies, duets, school concert music preparation, and solo repertoire. Renée Bond is experienced working with both children and adults from beginning through professional levels.

A sought after instructor, Renée Bond is the only Tucson area flute teacher preparing students for the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) International Examining Board. Her pupils have consistently garnered top honors in the Arizona All-State, Tucson Regionals, ABODA, and MENC competitions and auditions. In addition, many have been distinguished with music scholarships and awards.

Performance Information: Founding Member of the Silverwood Duo flute/guitar ensemble, Renée Bond has performed throughout Arizona and has also been invited for concerts in Ohio, Michigan, Las Vegas, South Carolina, California, and New York. The Silverwood Duo has provided music for hundreds of events from weddings, parties and corporate functions to graduations, religious services and romantic dinners. Biography: A frequent concert artist, Renée Bond is also an experienced teacher and orchestral musician. She has toured in over twelve countries with the U.S. Army Europe Premiere Band and was a featured artist for the National Flute Association Convention. She served as flute instructor for the Heidelberg and Mannheim School of the Arts and has taught classes at the University of Arizona. Active in the community, she has contributed to the Tucson Flute Club in several capacites - She has performed with Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra since 2001.

Renée Bond holds degrees in flute performance from The Boston Conservatory and U.C. Santa Barbara, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Arizona. Her teachers include Jill Felber (of ZAWA!), Lois Schaefer (Boston Symphony Orchestra, former piccoloist), and Jean-Louis Kashy (Tucson Symphony Orchestra, former principal flute) and additional studies with the late Julius Baker (New York Philharmonic, former principal flute) and Paula Robison (International flute soloist).
